Chevrolet Camaro Convertible: the lowdown
GM will slide the covers off this Chevy Camaro Convertible at the Detroit Motor Show at the weekend - and this is one concept that'll definitely go into production. Last year's Camaro coupe has already been given the nod for sales in two years' time, and this soft-top will join the stable later in 2009. The size is identical to the coupe, but the - bright chromed - windscreen mounting is slightly different to accommodate the hood.

With the weather as Summer-like as it is at the moment, it’s hard to believe Christmas is just round the corner. But it is, so that means Top Gear are busy filming this year’s Christmas special. And they’re doing it in Mumbai – which is probably cooler than the UK at the moment.
If you’re considering tearing down the 3.2-liter air-cooled flat-six in your 1984-1989 Porsche 911 , this stop-motion video should help motivate you. Skipping past all the stuck fasteners, broken parts and most of the unpleasant discoveries you’ll encounter when pulling any old engine apart has a way of making a full teardown seem downright manageable. But, whether you have an old 911 or not, this video is mighty entertaining and definitely worth a look.
